Tottenham Hotspur Women’s Managing Director Andy Rogers is leaving the club after nearly 25 years. His departure marks a significant transition for the team as they look to build on recent successes.
Andy Rogers is set to leave his role as Managing Director of Tottenham Hotspur Women this summer, bringing an end to nearly 25 years with the club. His tenure included three and a half years overseeing the women's team, a period he describes as the most rewarding of his career.
Rogers expressed pride in the progress made during his time with Spurs Women. "I have loved working with an incredible group of staff and players, both past and present," he said. He highlighted the strong foundation built under his leadership, which he believes will support the club's ambitions moving forward.
Under Rogers, Spurs Women reached their first FA Cup final in 2024 and saw improvements in the squad, coinciding with the appointment of Martin Ho as head coach. However, the journey hasn’t been without challenges, including a near relegation last season.
Football.London reports that Rafi Moersen, the incoming technical director, will take over leadership of Spurs Women temporarily until a permanent replacement is found. Rogers has held various roles at Spurs, including developmental liaison for academy players and Head of Global Coaching.
As Spurs Women navigate this transition, all eyes will be on how they build on the momentum created during Rogers' time at the helm. The next steps will be crucial for the club's future.
